Don’t get me wrong. I love EXO-K & EXO-M’s respective performances, but EXO’s performances are always the best.

So, I’m giving this beauty blogging thing a shot! Hopefully I don’t suck too much at it.
The first product I’m officially going to review, if you don’t already know, is the Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil. So this is my first cleansing oil make up remover. Prior to this, I was using the Neutrogena Make Up Wipes.
THE COMMON MISCONCEPTION:
It took a lot of convincing for me to switch over to a cleaning oil. Why? Well, like most people, I constantly worry about my face being oily because we all know oily skin = blemishes/acne. So why on earth would we want to voluntarily put MORE oil on our faces?
Well, I finally used it and I did NOT notice any increase of oil on my skin. If you take a look at make up wipes and make up removers in general, it all contains some oil content. Now I am a cleansing oil advocate!
1) The bottle comes without a box.
2) There was a recent packaging change. So the new bottles have a different design compared to the older ones. This is important because when buying beauty products, you ALWAYS want to check the manufacturing date, expiration date, and the authenticity.
Some sellers on Amazon still have the old packaging as the picture for the product. What I recommend is to message them to double check on that issue. I think the new packaging came out around mid/late 2013. If you buy it now, you would want the ones with the new packaging of course!
HOW TO USE:
Luckily, there’s English on the bottle so it was pretty straight forward. You would apply this straight onto your dry make up filled face. One pump usually works for my standard gel liner/ mascara filled make up. Then, wet your finger tips and gently massage your face. Finally rinse!
**Remember to wash your face regularly with a cleanser after this.
RESULTS: Gentle & Efficient
I have found that this cleansing oil removes my makeup gently. It does not require a lot of rubbing, tugging, or scrubbing of the skin, which is a super PLUS. All that is needed is a nice gentle massage to get the job done.
I am absolutely floored by how well it takes all my make up off. A little product goes a long way. Like I said before, 1 pump is more than enough for me. It get’s off all my makeup easily, even with my Benefit They’re Real Mascara, which is usually a pain to get off. I also found that sometimes, it leaves some eye makeup residue on my undereyes. It’s usually when I wear the heavy duty mascara. So occasionally it would get 99.9% of my make up off and leave me with some panda eyes. What I found was that it washes right off with my foam cleanser. It basically took the mascara off my lashes, so in my opinion it did its job!
COMPARISON TO PREVIOUS:
I used to use the Neutrogena Make Up Remover Wipes and I would swear by it. The fabric of the wipes were soft and it was easy taking off my makeup. The only complaint I had was when I used mascara or liquid liners, I would either have to use a separate eye makeup remover or rub with the wipes a bit harder. There were also times when it didn’t fully remove my foundation and I would see it on my cotton pad when I’m putting on toner… But other than that, it was my must have and I would praise it to the world.
After using my cleansing oil, I found that the once soft wipes that I loved, were actually a bit harsher and rough on the skin. When I used it again, it felt like I was rubbing my skin harder and giving myself wrinkles from all the tugging and rubbing.
Needless to say, I have given up my wipes and am now a cleansing oil advocate.

Hope you enjoyed this review! I’m still getting use to/ playing around with the format. I hoped this helped you! Sorry I don’t have pictures of my actual product, but if you want close up pics of it, just shoot me a message. Feel free to share with me your opinions and such.

When I saw this… I had one thought aside from the nosebleed….
AND… PELVIC THRUST
AND TIME TO BRING IT AROUND TOWNNNNNN BRING IT AROUND TOWNNNNNN
So, it has been about a month since I have fully swapped out my skin care regimen from a 3 step one to 259832091582098 step one (haha I’m kidding.. it’s actually about 7 steps more or less). I have seen impressive improvements already.
Anyways….I’ve been thinking about incorporating a beauty aspect to my blog with reviews and such. We will see how that goes. No worries to my current followers! I will still post many many many kpop related things *silently fangirls all over oppas*
So here is my Korean beauty haul! It came in two rounds and it took so much patience but in the end it was worth it.
So, like I said, its been about a month since I started using everything. I noticed that my skin started changing when I was 23/ 24 and I’ve been experimenting with so many serums, eye creams, toners, lotions, etc… it was definitely making me and graduate school debt all the more poor.
So now, being 25, I have new concerns of the skin to address such as wrinkle prevention and moisture retention. I have a normal skin type, and ever since I can remember, I have scattered freckles and horrendous pores on my nose. I wasn’t lucky to be born with flawless skin like all the actresses and idols that I watch :(
Have I seen any improvements? The quick answer is YES! My face does feel softer and more moist when I sleep and wake up. My complexion has gotten brighter. My pores have slightly improved, but I didnt expect a dramatic change since I didnt really buy too many products focusing on pore reductions. ( My Round 3 is already shipping and that has my pore reduction products!)
This post is sort of like my toe in the water to beauty blogging. If the response is well, I’ll start doing more individual product review! So please follow/ like/ reblog this post if I should proceed with the beauty posts.
